Board and Officers Meeting
February 25, 2010

Present were: Kathy Cox, Paula Edwards, Chris Gill, Rita Henderson, Judy Hooks, Sam Hopkins, Edward Keyser, Janet Keyser,

• The meeting was called to order at 12 noon by President Paula Edwards

• Auditors and financial report by Sam Hopkins.

• Election of officers:

  • Paula Edwards - President (remains)

  • Judy Hooks - Vice-president (remains)

  • Edward Keyser - Assistant Secretary

  • Kathy Cox - Assistant Treasurer

• Next meeting of the Board / Officers is at Faulkner Tennis Center [FTC] on March 25 at 12 noon

• Authorized Kathy

  • to activate, change, or update accounts including checking account to assume fiscal responsibility as treasurer

  • to renew the TCTA organizational membership with the USTA

• review of NETX and how the TCTA fits into the NETX

• discussion of legal status and filing of reports and forms with appropriate departments and government agencies. Edward and Kathy to review documentation and files and report at next board meeting with findings and recommendations.

• discussion of TCTA tournament and coordinating with FTC on sponsor and details

• 12:28 meeting adjourned

All appointments and decisions were unanimously approved by all present.
